School Programs
The Children’s Place presents safety programs to all St. Clair County and Pell City K-8th grade classrooms.
Elementary Programs are age-appropriate and introduce topics such as safe and unsafe touches, safe adults, how to disclose abuse, and more. Middle School programs focus on bullying and protecting ourselves in the online world.
Generous Volunteers help make this type of prevention possible through the donation of their time and dedication to our children.
Community Education
Community Education refers to a variety of presentations done by The Children's Place that are aimed at increasing knowledge and working towards keeping children safe. Educational events include the Annual Child Abuse Awareness Luncheon, Presenting to businesses, organizations, clubs, etc., Social Media posts, and more.
